Collection: Franklin County Homeschooling

The Homeschool Hub of Franklin County, VA is the heart of home education in Franklin County and surrounding areas. Built on the belief that homeschooling is not really about sheltering our children from the world as many believe, but rather walking alongside them through it, preparing them for adulthood in a healthy and engaging way. Our mission is to provide families with community-driven learning experiences that go far beyond the traditional classroom. Parents are their child’s leaders in life and education, the Hub exists to be their support through it all.

The Hub has become a space where parents don’t have to figure it all out alone. We connect local homeschooling families through monthly meetups, curriculum support, field trips, and social events — blending real-world experience with home education. Whether it’s trade and craft-based classes, cooperative learning groups, parent resource exchanges, graduation, or prom, everything we do is centered around empowering families to build a community to fulfill their child’s social and educational needs in a way that cannot be done alone. A home educated child does not have to miss out on a single thing when they are in the Hub!

Even though children are our drive, the hub provides community connection for parents as well, creating lasting friendships and cultivating a well-rounded learning experience for the whole family. The Homeschool Hub provides a network where parents and children alike can utilize their strengths to support each other and serve their community in a meaningful way. We’re forward-thinking and future-focused, helping students develop curiosity, adaptability, and a love for lifelong learning. Homeschooling here isn’t about isolation — it’s about community, creativity, and connection.
